It wasn't easy but the United States men's basketball team won the gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics. In a game that saw its fair share of fouls, 54 to be exact, Team USA edged out a tough Spain squad, 107-100. Kevin Durant led the team in scoring with 30 points while also managing to pull down 9 rebounds. LeBron James, who put together a nice 19-point performance, came through with a clutch, late-game three-pointer to seal the victory.

The road was tough but the United States men's squad is still the best in the world.
