With the Phillies season officially in the toilet, the entire city of Philadelphia has turned their attention to the Eagles. Michael Vick has already predicted that the Iggles will win the Super Bowl early next year, so it's only right that the city is excited. But, last night, Vick almost guaranteed that the team would not win the Super Bowl this season when he hit his hand on the back of an offensive lineman's helmet and immediately left the game with what looked like a serious injury.
Good news, though, Eagles fans. After he had some X-rays taken, the Eagles revealed that Vick's thumb is not broken. Disaster averted. Er, at least for now.
