It's been a big week for shirtless photos of athletes, huh? Earlier this week, Kobe Bryantgot into all kinds of trouble with his wife after photos of him hanging out with some chicks in Barcelona without a shirt on surfaced on TMZ. Just before that, Tim Tebow made headlines for jogging shirtless (in the pouring rain!) after a Jets practice over the weekend. And now, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is getting some attention for hanging one of those photos of Timmy in his locker—with his head pasted on Tebow's body. Tebow had a response for it, too.
"Sometimes it does get a little comical and funny to me," he said after several reporters asked him about the shirtless photo. "It's really not cliche, I just try not to think about it or worry about it or pay attention to it. I try to be myself and live as much of a normal life as I can without having any of this change who I am or what I am or why I do it."
Dude, your shirtless photo is hanging up in another pro athlete's locker! How does that not change you at least a little bit? You're a much better man than any of us. As if that should come as any surprise.
