John Michael McGee, a four-star offensive guard out of Texarkana, Texas who began his first training camp this week for the University of Oklahoma just quit the Sooners—via Twitter. He gave a hint at his plans with this tweet earlier in the afternoon:

"My decision, my life, and your opinion doesn't matter."

He followed that up with confirmation an hour later:

"Goodluck to OU on the field I'll be watching. It's just not for me."

It seems likely that dude is going to hear it from Sooner Nation for bouncing on the team just days into camp, but McGee is young enough that he could presumably resume his career somewhere else. He also seems like he isn't too interested in football right now:

"Where's John Michael McGee? Living his life and now you live yours. No comments needed thanks!"
