No one is going to confuse Rex Ryan for Tim Tebow. But, as the Jets coach pointed out recently, he does weigh less than Timmy Touchdown right now, so that day might be coming soon.

More than three years after tipping the scales at 348 pounds, Ryan is now down to a svelte (well, svelte by his standards) 242 pounds thanks to the lap-band surgery that he underwent two years ago. And, while making the media rounds yesterday to talk about the surgery, he joked about how he's basically the spitting image of Tebow.

"I think we look real similar, except he's left-handed and I'm right-handed," he said.

He also went on to compliment himself in a way that only he could. "I obviously look a lot better," said Ryan, who has lost 10 inches off his waist. "I may not be a box of chocolates, but I look a hell of a lot better than I did."

Check out the thumbs to see what Ryan used to look like. Big difference, huh?
