This past Thursday, Jason Kidd signed his three-year, $9.5 million contract and officially became a part of the New York Knicks organization. A mere three days later, Kidd welcomed himself into Southampton Town Justice Court after getting arrested Sunday morning on a misdemeanor DWI charge following an incident that involved his 2010 Cadillac Escalade colliding into a telephone pole at 1:56 A.M., according to the New York Daily News. J-Kidd was treated for the minor injuries he received near his summer home in the Hamptons. The 39-year-old point guard was eventually released on his own recognizance.
