Dwight Howard isn't going to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets like he wanted this offseason. That much is pretty clear. The other thing that's becoming increasingly clear is that Howard is going to have to be open to the idea of getting traded to other teams if he wants to be moved out of Orlando ASAP. And, it appears that he's finally come around to that idea.

According to a new report, Howard is now saying that he would be open to being traded to the Lakers and signing a long-term deal with the team. Despite the fact that Howard has repeatedly said that he has no interest in going to Los Angeles, it now sounds as though he's comfortable with being a Laker. He even visited LA recently to meet with Magic Johnson and took some photos at a Dodgers game (hit the thumbs to see a photo from the visit).

So, that's it. Dwight Howard is going to be a Los Angeles Laker soon! Er, maybe. At this point, who the hell knows what's gonna happen with this guy? By tonight, he might be headed to the Bobcats. Stay tuned.
