Did Roddy White Actually Defend Joe Paterno's Actions in the Penn State Scandal?

Is there any mulligans in Twitter?

Every social media fan knows of the retweet button on Twitter, but Roddy White may wish there was a "rewind" feature. That way he could go back in time and reconsider posting tweets in defense of Joe Paterno earlier today. After the Freeh Report revealed that Paterno, along with president Graham Spanier, athletic director Tim Curley and vice president Gary Schultz, "failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade," Roddy took to his account to share his insensitive thoughts about the situation:

Of course, after receiving heat for his support of JoePa hiding the sexual abuse going on throughout the Penn State football program for more than 10 years, White pulled the posts and replaced them with another tweet:

I hate when people take your comments and twist them into there own words I read the report and I feel terrible joe pa didn't do enough

But....uh...there's no need to twist the words. Roddy actually thought that hurting the university's image was more important than the children who were sexually abused.  It's right there in black and white. That's the one rare yet good thing about the social media site.
