Clip of the Morning: LeBron James Gives a Surprisingly Respectful Response to That Dream Team Comparison Question

Surprise, surprise.

Yeah, we know. Who hasn't given their take on this damn question yet? After all, we all realize by now that The Dream Team would win, hands down. Oops. Did we show our hand? Anyway, in an interview on Nightline, Cynthia McFadden asks LeBron James about Kobe Bryant's now infamous, headline-grabbing statement where he said that Team USA was capable of defeating the '92 Olympic squad. After a couple of years of regrettable interactions with the media, LeBron is more conscientious with what he says and how he says it.

In response to the question, LeBron respectfully replied, “As a competitor you never want to say that you will lose no matter who you are going against.” James added, "We understand what they did for our game, but we also are big-time competitors as well so if we had the opportunity to play them in a game, we feel like we would win too.” Now, there's a better answer than the one Kobe was giving to the media. Can't believe we're going to say this, but KB could learn a thing or two from Bron Bron. Ugh, that felt weird.
