There's not much to complain about with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. It's powerful, comfortable, stylish, fast, and nimble. However, if you're looking for a vehicle that gets better fuel economy and sounds more like three marbles and an old class ring in a rock tumbler you're in luck. For reasons that are not entirely clear, Mercedes is rumored to be working on a diesel variant of the SLS AMG for the Paris Motor Show.
While the idea is a bit weird, the idea of an SLS that has a bajillion ft-lbs of torque and gets decent fuel economy isn't bad at all. Let's hope this rumor is true.
