There are plenty of people, including some I know and respect, who still can’t correctly pronounce “Hyundai.” This must be galling for the rising Korean car maker, which has sold more cars this year than Ford. So you’d think that Hyundai would name its sporty hatchback, first unveiled last year, something a bit catchier than “Veloster.” You know, a name that you can confidently pronounce at first glance, like “V” or “Velocity” or any other word that might logically fit in a rap punchline. If your last name is Krzyzewski, you name your kid “Mike.” Simple. That aside, the Veloster Turbo, new for 2013, is a very appealing car. We recently gave the V-T (our preferred name) a spin and here’s what we found.
