The recently opened Pilgrim Surf + Supply shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is one of the only shops in the city catering to the niche customer base of NYC surfers. Carrying everything from surf apparel and equipment including handmade boards, books, and fashion-conscious outdoor apparel the shop hopes to establish a new retail model that will serve as an inspiration for designers to present their creative work.
The shop features women's swimwear from Bantu, and Basta; bags and wallets by Makr Carry Goods; beach wraps by Nomadic Thread Society; and apparel by VSTR and M.Nii. Expect to see boards and suits all year round and more weather-appropriate choices as the seasons change.
The Pilgrim shop will play host to a number of events and launch parties throughout the summer including a surf contest to be held on Rockaway Beach. Keep an eye out for details for that event, currently set for late July.
