A couple months ago, we told you about Sharon Simmons, a 55-year-old grandmother who wanted to join the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team. At the time, we kinda shot down her hopes and dreams as being nothing more than that—hopes and dreams. After all, this is the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading teamwe're talking about here, not the Ben-Gals or whatever the fuck the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders call themselves. The Cowboys cheerleaders are practically an American institution!

But, we'll give credit where credit is due: Even with all of the skeptics shitting all over her hopes and dreams, Simmons went out and tried out for the Cowboys cheerleading dream recently. Will she actually make the team? Probably not. But, hey, at least she tried. And, that's more than we can say for a lot of folks out there. So, even if we're not exactly pulling for you to be on the Cowboys sidelines next season, kudos for trying.
