We think that's fitting.

A few weeks ago a Harley washed up on the beach in British Columbia, Canada that was discovered to be owned by a 16 year old Tsunami survivor. The bike has been carried out to sea in the 2011 tsunami and spent a year at sea before arriving in Canada.

Initially, Harley-Davidson offered to restore the bike and ship it back to him in Japan, but Ikuo Yokoyama has decided that it should be preserved in its current, corroded state, and should stand as a memorial. Very classy.

Our collective heart goes out to Mr. Yokoyama, who lost his home and three of his family members in the disaster.
