If you grew up watching football in the 1990s, there's a good chance you loved watching Junior Seau play. A former linebacker for the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots, he made the Pro Bowl 12 times throughout the course of his career and was named to the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team. We're sad to report that Seau was found dead at his home in Oceanside, Calif. earlier today.

Although details about his death are still trickling in, TMZ is reporting that cops believe that Seau shot himself sometime earlier this morning. TMZ is also reporting that Seau sent text messages to his ex-wife and his three kids yesterday that read, "Love you," but that no one in his family suspected that he was going through any personal issues. We will, of course, keep you updated with more details as they come in.

In the meantime, we just want to say R.I.P. to one of our favorite NFL linebackers of all-time.
