Description: The Trail Blazers are staggering to the tape at the end of this half-marathon season, as they once again split a week's worth of games. By losing to the Thunder they lost a game on the leaders, but beating the Timberwolves on Sunday pushed them a game further out of the basement. J.J. Hickson, claimed off waivers, has moved into the starting lineup, and scored 29 points in his first game as a starter. Meanwhile, in three of his starts, Joel Przybilla managed 1, 0 and 0 points. Whatever the outcome of the season, Portland has a lot of work to do. —Russ Bengtson
