The base price is going to be $25,495. That does include the $750 destination charge, so Subaru can say that the $25k cap was not exceeded. An automatic transmission will run you an extra $1,100.

The Subaru is a tad more expensive than its Scion badged sibling, but comes with a slightly more refined interior, HID headlights, a touchscreen navigation system, and bluetooth connectivity.

Opt for the Limited trim level and you'll get leather and alcantara seats, dual-zone climate control, fog lights, keyless access, a security system, heated seats, and a rear trunk spoiler. Even decked out with all of this, the car should come in at under $30,000.

The BRZ is designed to handle like nothing else in its price point, but it doesn't have the power that other cars in this price range, like the Mustang and Camaro, are sporting. We think the price is fair, but for buyers it will simply be a matter of priorities. Speed or handling?
