After a few false starts Quintin rider Gabe Brooks made history at this years Simple Session event in Estonia, flying 49 inches off the ground in the Red Bull Bunny Hop contest. Although he still lost the competition to rider Chad Kerley, his name will still go down as the record breaker, despite having kind of tapped the bar while crossing (the bar stayed in place so it still counts, folks.) Word is, Brooks has a street edit coming out soon where he tops the 49 in. hop. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for that one.
