There's a war going on outside, no cyclist is safe from. This appears to the case in the UK, as the BBC documentary The War On Britain’s Roads hopes to capture, via helmet cam perspective, the feud raging on the streets between cyclists and motorists.

All hyperbole aside, it seems that cyclist-motorist interrelations are experiencing a shift, as cycling infrastructure becomes a larger focus in cities all over the world. How will people in cars react to the influx of bikes on what they've come to consider their streets? Are cyclists prepared to face the dangers that will certainly come as a result of sharing more and more space with their 4-wheeled counterparts?

Set to air late 2012, the documentary will examine these and other issues from a unique first-hand perspective.
