Sure, Gerald Green might not be the most consistent NBA player, and he might not always technically deserve to be on a professional roster, but for the love of dunkalicious basketball Gods, the league needs to just give him a free pass to play. The man who blew out a candle on a cupcake during the dunk contest pulled off one of the most disgusting slams we've seen all year last night with a beautiful assist from new teammate MarShon Brooks. If you pause the video at around 14 seconds, it's clear that Green is so high he could literally kiss the top of the man on the NBA logo's smooth head. Please, guys, don't let him go back down to the D-League. One of these moments per month is more than enough reason to keep him.
