We don't like Duke just as much as the next person. But even we can draw the line at a certain point. In a recent conversation with AP business writer Christina Rexrode, U.S. Rep. Brad Miller took his Tar Heels allegiance to a whole 'nother level. When the rival Blue Devils came up in the conversation, the congressman for North Carolina's 13th district in the U.S. House of Representatives dropped a huge bombshell:

"I have said very publicly that if Duke was playing against the Taliban," Miller said very publicly again, "then I'd have to pull for the Taliban."

Uhh, are you sure about that? Luckily, Miller doesn't have to worry about getting re-elected since he is serving his final term. But, at this point, we think that the political side is the least of his concerns. Ironically, Miller also confessed that he has no problem cheering for NC State as long as they're not playing North Carolina. Welp, that's somewhat comforting to know.
