Using Sony's new Experia smartphone as a platform, James Brighton managed to hack Reckless Racing 2 and get it to transmit signals to devices he had installed in some actual cars. These devices did things like operate the pedals, gear levers, and steering wheel. The cars were a pair of mediocre looking MG roadsters, but the whole idea is still brilliant.

Once Brighton had the whole system up and running he invited Martin Noriander, the developer of Reckless Racing 2, and Hunter Skipworth, a journalist, to race the cars. Good times were obviously had by all.
