The time is officially here. After passing Shaquille O'Neal for fifth on the all-time points list in tonight's game against the 76ers, Kobe Bryant can finally ask Shaq how his backside tastes. With a retired Diesel safely on the sideline, Bryant is cruising along at 29.4 points per game this season and will never have to stand in the Shaq's massive shadow again; at least when it comes to points. Bryant entered the game against Philadelphia needing 24 to cross 28,596, and he did that in the first half alone. Although Bryant has been excelling this season, the Lakers have been struggling mightily and came to Philly with an average 14-10 record.
