New England refuses to be outdone by their Super Bowl XLVI opponent, the New York Giants. Even when it comes to bad advertising decisions. Yesterday morning, the official website for the G-Men accidentally released their championship graphic. Later that night, Dick's Sporting Goods aired a commercial during the Grizzlies/Celtics broadcast on Comcast SportsNet that declared the Patriots as the Super Bowl champions. The ad was eventually pulled but that doesn't take away from the ridicule of being guilty of premature adulation.
