Zach Randolph Out up to Eight Weeks with Torn Knee Ligament

Z-Bo is a no-go.

Originally reported as just a bone bruise, Zach Randolph's injury has turned out to be much worse. According to The Commercial Appeal, Randolph slightly tore the medial collateral ligament in his right knee in a 104-64 blowout loss to the Chicago Bulls and will miss as much as eight weeks. Randolph, who has averaged 14.8 points and 7.5 rebounds early in the season, will not be undergoing surgery.

In response to the injury, the Grizz already have moves in the works. In return for Xavier Henry and two second-round picks, Memphis is set to land center Marreese Speights in a three-team trade with the 76ers and Hornets. The deal is expected to be finalized Wednesday evening.
