Sometime within the next two weeks, one of the greatest catchers to ever sit behind the plate will no longer be an active MLB player. According to ESPN, Jorge Posada is waiting for the right time to announce that he will retire after 17 seasons in the league. Over that span, Posada compiled a .273 average, crossed the plate exactly 900 times, and drove in 1,065 runs. We're sure that Yankees fans won't be the only people missing this dude.
