With 7:47 left in last night's 98-95 win over the Rockets, Eric Maynor injured his right knee as he drove to the basket. Following testing, the Thunder revealed that Maynor had torn his Anterier Cruciate Ligament and required season-ending surgery.

“It’s unfortunate to lose a player like Eric, whose work ethic and leadership has contributed to the culture of our organization," the Thunder said in a news release. "Knowing him and the mental toughness he possesses, we are confident that he will do everything necessary to come back from this injury and be prepared for the 2012-13 season."

Maynor had been averaging 4.2 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 rebounds in just 15.2 minutes this year. Thunder rookie Reggie Jackson, the 24th overall pick out of Boston College, will take Maynor's spot on the roster.
