Complex Says: In a day and age when most people associate the word “Volvo” with “rolling safety cage piloted by oblivious drivers,” we're fond of the fantastic Volvo sports coupes of the '70s. This turquoise-blue 1800e just oozes personality. It also has only 41,073 miles on it as of the time of listing, and the seller is the grandchild of the original owner. This is a reminder that the Swedish automaker didn't always stick to playing it safe. If you're fond of the modern C30, you can definitely see where it inherited its good looks.

While you're fixing it up, you should be able to fit it in your garage. The same can't be said of larger school buses. What we love about old buses like this is their distinctive styling, compared to buses of today. Modern school buses have flat front ends, and look like big rolling rectangles. This bus has style, even in its unfinished state.

According to the seller, all parts on this car are original. The odometer reading is 59,900, and is allegedly original and accurate. We wonder what we always wonder when we see cars like this on eBay: why isn't the seller using a seasoned auto auction company to sell this car? Not that eBay's a bad place, but it seems likely that the seller would get more attention from serious collectors through an auto auction house. Also, more money.

All things considered, if we had lived in the '20s, this is the kind of car we would have wanted to drive.
