Just like the Italians did in the '80s, Swedish artist Rost Lundvang uses rust to make cars. Lundvang takes sheets of steel wrapped in vinyl, cuts away a negative of the image he wants, and exposes the sheet to the elements until the level of patina is where he wants it. At that point he takes the newly formed work of art indoors, strips off the remaining vinyl and reveals either a classic of the motoring world like a Dodge Charger or a modern day supercar like the Koenigsegg CCX.
