Legit sleeper division favorite, or just beneficiaries of a soft early schedule? How about both? Sure, aside from a season-opening loss to the Trail Blazers, the Sixers haven't really played anybody special, but hey, that's how it goes in the Eastern Conference. The team has five players averaging double digits in scoring (not one of whom is named Elton Brand), and Complex Preemie All-Star Spencer Hawes has been an early season revelation. Philadelphia starts the first of its two back-to-back-to-backs tonight, and ends the week with a home-and-home with the Wizards. With both the Knicks and Celtics muddling along in the early season, Philly has a chance to open up a solid division lead in the next seven days. —Jack Erwin
