After the infamous 2003 incident in Colorado, you'd think Kobe Bryant would try to stay on the straight and narrow when it came to extramartial affairs. But apparently not. On December 1st, Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce and while the court papers are citing "irreconcilable differences," the real reason is believed to be that Kobe tried playing the field again. According to TMZ, "As one source puts it, 'She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough,' adding, 'This one is the straw that broke the camel's back.'"
Even though the Bryants released a joint statement saying that they have "resolved all issues" privately, with the assistance of counsel, it's believed that Kobe is still trying to right his wrongs and get the marriage back on track. Unfortunately, a $4 million ring may not do it this time because with no prenup, Vanessa is going to make some serious bank off the Black Mamba's $150 million empire, which is definitely enough to give these guys a run for their money...literally.
