As the winter season approaches, we're stoked to break out our mountain pass and hit the slopes in search of some fresh powder. Over the years, companies like Vitaminwater have supported some of the best riders on the planet and continue to push the sport mainstream. Complex was recently invited to attend Woodward Camp for a private training session with Vitaminwater athletes at theVitaminwater Progression Camp in Copper Mountain, Colorado.

We spent a few days training with JJ Thomas (2002 Olympic Halfpipe Bronze medalist), Kaitlyn Farrington (2010 European X Games Gold medalist), Johnnie Paxson (celebrated freestyle rider and film star), Gus Kenworthy (Winter Dew Tour skiing standout) and snowboard prodigy, Kyle Mack.

Throughout the year, each rider participated in a series of Vitaminwater Progression Camps set up around the world. The athletes are preparing for the upcoming season and training alongside U.S. Olympic Gold medal-winning Snowboarding coach, Bud Keene. Keene has been coaching for more than 20 years and is also the personal instructor for Shaun White. The trusted Vermont native works with Vitaminwater athletes on daily halfpipe training sessions, physical conditioning workouts, as well as nutrition and training exercises.

Copper Mountain is currently home to the largest professional halfpipe open in the U.S., and the snow park and Woodward Camp facilities were a terrific location for one of the teams final Vitaminwater Progression Camps of the season.

Join us as we check out this sick video showcasing Team Vitaminwater and hear from Coach Bud Keene discuss what makes this experience such a unique and successful platform. Hit the thumbs to see images from Vitaminwater Progression Camp and watch this dope video shot by Phillip Mansfield.
