As the NFC West goes, the 49ers haven't exactly been the comeback kids this season. They've been running away with the division since mid-October, but on Saturday they proved that they have a bit of resiliency in them. San Francisco overcame two Seattle leads, including one late in the fourth quarter to tack on another win and kill the Seahawks' playoff hopes. It's not often that kickers get shine, but David Akers was the star on Saturday and has been an significant part of their game all season. Akers had already broken Jerry Rice's record for most 49er points scored in a single season during Week 14 and on Saturday he set a league record for most field goals in a season with 42 on the year thus far. With their latest victory, the Niners came another game closer to locking up the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye. Who dat?
