It's meaningless to wonder about it now, but would the Pau Gasol trade (you know, the one involving that Paul guy) really have benefitted the Rockets that much? Sure, they'd have one of the most legit big men in the game, but without their current top two players, it just doesn't seem like they'd be that much improved. The Rockets are what we think they are: a good team that can score with anyone, and can give up points to just about anyone. Put them in the East and they're a playoff team; in the Western Conference, they're just another plus-.500 lottery team. —Jack Erwin
