34. GMC AUTOnomy

Debut: North American International Auto Show
Year: 2002
Complex Says: Back before the Volt was a spark, GM decided to build a car it thought would represent the future of automobiles. Powered by a fuel-cell propulsion system and some other next-gen tech, the AUTOnomy represented a design ethos for the brand, one that it hoped would permeate all of its vehicles sometime in the future. We're not sure how much of the tech made it into current or upcoming GM cars, but it surely did look futuristic.
