37. BMW Simple Concept

Debut: BMW Museum
Year: 2005
Complex Says: Looking like the great, great, great grandson of the BMW Isetta—the car made popular by Steve Urkel in Family Matters—the Simple Concept was the Bavarian automaker's take on a new-age "professional commuter" car. Its name is an acronym for Sustainable and Innovative Mobility Product for Low Energy consumption, and can do 60 mph in around nine seconds while getting 118 mpg. We'd take one of these over a Smart Car. Just sayin'.
