This is a prime example of why one should wait about two years before buying a new Ferrari model; they have to get through the randomly bursting into flames stage. After the randomly bursting into flames stage comes the angry customers stage, the corporate denial stage, and finally the recall stage, after which it is safe to purchase said Ferrari.

This is a special example, however, because the driver of this Ferrari FF hadn't even purchased it yet. A 44 year old man was taking a Ferrari FF for a test drive when he heard a loud noise and noticed that the rear of the car was on fire. He stopped it and got out before he was consumed by Maranello's conflagration.
