Oklahoma @ Texas 12:00 (Saturday, 12:00 p.m., ABC)

Spread: Texas (+10)

The Red River Rivalry is always a classic game between these two teams which states border each other and absolutely hate each other. Texas has shaped up since the beginning of the season and have been going with a two quarterback system mainly behind the arm of Case McCoy. Compare that to Landry Jones who is a Heisman candidate and throwing to one of the best wide receivers in college football in Ryan Broyles and the edge goes to Oklahoma. On the defensive side of the ball is a different story, Texas is number 12 in the country in scoring defense and Oklahoma gave up over 500 yards to Missouri a few weeks ago. This game will have a little too much emotion for the young Texas offense, and the depleted defensive secondary for Longhorns won’t bode well against the Jones to Broyles connection. Gun to my head I’m choosing Oklahoma to win by two touchdowns, but this is a no play otherwise.
