After his Cheesy Mac and Rib Melt won fans at L.A.'s Grilled Cheese Invitational, chef Dave Danhi (Water Grill, Roxbury Supper Club, Habana, Georgia) joined forces with Michelle Grant in order to start a truck dedicated to a favorite childhood comfort food. Making Food and Wine magazine's Best Grilled Cheese in the U.S. list, the truck offers both traditional melts and some seriously creative sandwiches, like its best-selling Cheesy Mac and Rib, an awesome combo of cheddar cheese, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and caramelized onions ($7.75) The Brie Melt features smoked pork loin and peach preserves on peppercorn potato bread ($7.50). Dip your melt in a cup of hot tomato soup ($2.50) and complete your nostalgic meal with a side of tater tots ($3.75). If you've got room, the truck's now also serving dessert melts on sweet brioche bread ($5-6.50).
