12. The Gastrobus
Antonio Medina, a former chef for Wolfgang Puck, and his wife Lana run this bistro-style truck that frequents farmer's markets to find fresh, organic, local ingredients. Though there are some staples to the small menu, including well-salted, thick-cut sweet potato fries ($3) and scrumptious pulled pork and pickled red onion sandwiches ($6), many of the items rotate based on what's available at the market. Specials on a recent visit included a mashed potato griddle cake topped with a flavorsome sweet and spicy peanut sauce and a delicious skirt steak sandwich on soft ciabatta bread ($6).
