The city of Prague is giving it's taxi cabs a make-over and has hired the HJC Design company to do it. Still in the initial design phase, the cabs are supposed to be a sort of tribute to the city's architecture and historical tram network. The concept taxi will feature touches like high-powered rear LED lights in clusters of 18 bulbs as a nod to the city's bridges and rivers, as well as more modern and high-tech features like glass roofs, and a "fully-integrated augmented-reality display," allowing passengers to select their route through the city.
The re-design looks like it's already more advanced and way cooler than some old Hollywood ideas of what taxi's would look like in the future.
