From the Department of "No Bad News Is Good News" comes reports that NBA owners and players met for twice as long as planned yesterday, and are meeting again today in the hopes of averting more game cancellations. After scheduling an 8-hour meeting yesterday, the sides ended up talking for 16 hours Tuesday. At the request of federal mediator George Cohen, neither side commented on the progress of the talks, however they did agree to hold more talks today. [via SI.com]
