BMW says that the new M5 does a 0-60 sprint in 4.4 seconds. A lot of people were up in arms about this. Mercedes fans were shaming the Bimmer and Bimmer people were on all out defense mode. It can all end now, since Car & Driver just tested the M5's 0-60 and found that it can do it in 3.7 seconds. That's a whole 16% faster than the official spec sheet. We all know that BMW's policy is to be conservative on their spec sheets so as not to disappoint anybody, but this is too much.
