The Tata Nano sells for about $2,100. It's the cheapest car in the world and it's designed to get India's masses off of the bus/elephant/horse. Since Tata owns Goldplus, a large jewelry corporation, it was apparently a no-brainer to make this ridiculous, $4.6 Million take on a Nano. It's covered in 194 lbs of gold, 33 lbs of silver, and enough precious stones to make any maharaja blush. This insane monstrosity will move about the country to Tata showrooms in an attempt to build brand awareness. The Nano is selling well under Tata's target of 250,000 per year.
