The first week of NFL action is almost in the books and many of the league's season openers did not dissappoint. From Big Ben and the Steelers getting rocked by the Baltimore Ravens to Cam Newton's record-setting debut (can homie really be better than Peyton?!), there's already plenty to talk about. So, as part of our new weekly series, we bring you the Complex Sunday NFL Wrap-up featuring today's top play, biggest performance fail, most brutal hit, and even the best touchdown celebration.

Player: Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Stats: 1 TD, 3 Interceptions, 2 fumbles, 52.9 QB rating
What was supposed to be a close battle between two of the league's best defenses quickly turned into a slaughter, resulting in a Ravens 35-7 victory. Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs completely shut down Big Ben, leaving fantasy owners and Steelers fans hurtin'. With one of the league's top quarterbacks accounting for over five turnovers, it's safe to say that Roethlisberger deserves the Fantasy Fail award this week.

Player: Tony Scheffler, Detroit Lions
We've been dying to see who would be the first NFL player to bust out Lil B's cooking dance after scoring a TD, but Tony Scheffler stuntin' on the Bucs with his swashbuckling celebration was entertaining. Considering the fact that we didn't even know if we would have pro football to watch a few months ago, we're grateful for this kind of fuckery amusement that only the NFL can bring us.

Player: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills
Stats: 17-25,  208 yards, 4 TDs, 133.0 QB rating
OK, so how many of you drafted Ryan Fitzpatrick in your league? Yeah, us neither. The seventh-round draft pick shredded the Kansas City Chiefs in the Bills 41-7 victory. Fitzpatrick, who's a Harvard alum proved that, once again, good brain >>> everything. Ayo!

Player: Percy Harvin, Minnesota Vikings
Now that's how you start the season. Percy Harvin and the Vikings would go on to lose to the Chargers, 24-17 but this electrifying return was the longest play of the day. Seems like that kickoff rule change won't stop us from seeing more of the best kick returns in NFL History.

Most Brutal Hit

Player: Darrel Young, Washington Redskins
Victim: Spencer Paysinger, New York Giants
Giants rookie Spencer Paysinger got a brutal welcoming to the league courtesy of Darrel Young. Not only was the 28-14 loss painful, but this blocking hitwhich sent Paysinger into the turf face-firstlooks like it did some damage, too. Side bar: Why do YouTube uploaders always feel like they have to add their own terrible commentary to videos? #justsayin'
