If Stephen Strasburg lives up to his potential, he's going to land in the Baseball Hall of Fame one day. Dude is that good. But just because he's got the potential to be a baseball legend doesn't excuse him from the rookie hazing that goes on in Major League Baseball clubhouses. Just check out this photo of Strasburg dressed as Papa Smurf standing alongside his fellow Nats rookies dressed as Smurfs and Nats catcher Wilson Ramos dressed as a Smurfette.

And, the best part? Strasburg did this just hours before pitching in an 8-2 victory over the Astros yesterday. Kudos to whoever came up with this completely ridiculous hazing idea in the first place and to Strasburg for playing along with it. Well done. [via Big League Stew]
