The Bugatti Galibier was slated to have 800 horsepower, go really fast (duh), and have an interior that looked like a caricature of a luxury car. It's going to be more than that, though, because the new boss at Bugatti, Wolfgang Durheimer, says that it's not yet an "argument stopper." He wants every single "best car" discussion to end with "Bugatti Galibier." He said things like, "it's 800 horsepower now, but there are tuners today who can give you that and we don't want our car to be involved in any discussion that involves tuners, so we have to move the benchmarks." And "there should not even be a question about the best car in the world when you sit down to discuss it with your billionaire buddies."
We were already pretty excited about this car, and now we really can't wait to see the final version.
