During a Primera División soccer game between Santos Laguna and Monarcas Morelia, things got out of control real fast after gunfire was heard throughout Corona Stadium in Mexico. The referees and players ran to seek shelter in the locker rooms while the people in the stands were forced to hide anywhere they could to avoid potential stray bullets.

It turned out though that the sound was actually coming from a shootout that occurred outside of the stadium between some criminals and the police. We don't know if there is a bright side to this story, but all we can say is that any Mexican league soccer game we watch will be from the comfort (and safety) of our own home.
