Video: Water Propelled Jet Pack Take Off Fail

With no traffic, jams or pedestrian crosswalks in the air, jet packs don’t look too tough to take out for a spin. That didn’t seem to be the case for one guy taking to the skies with the JetLev R200 jet pack at the San Diego Yacht and Boat Show. Upon taking off in front of Fox 5 cameras the operator of the approx. $4300 aqua propulsion pack took an immediate spill off the dock, nearly knocking a reporter in with him. In the end, the over anxious rocketeer wannabe did manage to properly propel himself into flight mode after his epic fail.
