The first overall pick in the 1969 MLB draft, Burroughs won the 1974 AL MVP with the Rangers, and hit 41 home runs for Atlanta in '77. He finished his career with 240 dingers, and a permanent place in weird baseball lore for being one of the targets of the infamous Ten Cent Beer Night riot in Cleveland.
